Stay in the keeper’s residence at Terningen Lighthouse, Hitra. You can rent a boat and there is a short distance for you to go from the mainland.
Terningen Lighthouse was established in 1833. The lighthouse consists of a twelve-meter high concrete tower and the headlight level is at 17.8 meters. This gives the light a range of 13.4 nautical miles. The lighthouse was depopulated and automated in 1991.
