The museum “Kystmuseet” at Hitra, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway will tell you the story of modern aquaculture, beginning in the early 1970-ies until today.
A fast RIB with a guide take you out to the aquaculture plant, where you see the salmon bounce in the cages.
Jodd AS offers a fast, safe and adventurous ride out to one of the two plants. Depending on which resort we visit the boat transport will go from Sandstad or Fillan, Hitra. Aquaculture is the second largest export industry in Norway. Kystmuseet at Fillan, Hitra has exhibits on this important industry.
