You may see the sea eagles along large parts of Trøndelag. In our region you may see them along the coast of Fosen and at the islands Hitra and Frøya.

The sea eagle is the largest bird in Norway measured by wingspan. The females can be up to 2.40 m in wingspan. The birds are quite common along our coast. The sea eagle was completely protected by law in Norway from 1968.
